CoreMigrate Overview

CoreMigrate streamlines and automates the labor-intensive and error-prone manual tasks associated with transitioning from a PBX system to Microsoft Teams Phone. The process begins with data being extracted from your PBX to generate a comprehensive PBX audit report. From here the data is adjusted to fit Teams formatting requirements, then automatically loaded into Teams. The entire process, or individual steps, can be performed the customer, Teams provider, or Altigen depending on your requirements and in-house expertise.
The Process
Phase 1: Discovery
Using our automated discovery tool, we extract the relevant user and device information from your existing PBX.. We can pull data from Alcatel, Aastra, Asterisk, Avaya, Cisco, Ericsson, Mitel, Nortel, Siemens and ShoreTel.

We can also blend in other important data such as Call Detail Reporting, Active Directory, Voicemail, Network Edge Switches and more. We then deliver an audit report that summarizes all of your existing data with insight into any potential issues.
Phase 2: Transformation
​
The next step is to review the information discovered and contained in the Audit report. Altigen conducts a workshop with your team to verify and normalize the data to be imported to the Teams Phone system.

We’ll also cover items such as new features found in Teams Phone, auto attendants and call queues. A project plan will be created to detail the migration.
Phase 3: Deployment
We now have everything we need to deploy the Microsoft Teams Phone system. First, the analyzed information will be imported into a Teams Ready Data Store to be mapped.
We then configure Teams according to your requirements.
Once complete, we check and verify all of the Team’s Phone system configurations and move to production.
